Obesity is one of the diseases of the 21th century with special attention to countries like USA, Italy, England and so on. There is that something that we must eat, or can't help ourselves to eat and due to this uncontralable act our children become fat and then obese. For this the parent often want to send them or put them through a weight loss camp for teens. Some of us can understand their desire ot do this, some of us can't but the will to become fit and lose weight must come from the teen and not from the parents. This is very important because the teen won't accomplish anything if he is forced: even if he lose weight now, his way of thinking will remain the same and after a few months, or even sooner he will be back on the same track, pounding on fats on his way to become obese again.
Weight loss camp for teens are a good idea in general, they are ment to help people lose weight with a series of regims and exercise courses, thus combining a healty diet with exercise. But the thing that is most important is that after the camp the teen should know what to do not to go back on that road again. He need to be prepared mentaly to deal with pear pressure so he won't crack when he is invited out to pizza or cake, or someone gives him chips or any other unhealty food. This is important because if he manages to do this he won't need the weight loss camp for teens, he won't go back there because he is a stronger person and he can lose weight on his own. That teen will gain the self-control needed not only to lose weight but also in life, when he has to deal with other kinds of pressure.
Weight loss camp for teens have to be in a place outside the city, because the teens will need privacy and quiet and won't need any reason or any triggers that make them want to eat: for example, you find out that your favourite pop singer has died and you find yourself sad and start eating ice-cream, cake or chocolate in order to make yourself feel better. Studies have shown that chocolate affects a certain part of your brain and makes you happy but you need to know that it is only a temporary happiness and if you go for happiness you should go for long-term.
